Covid-19

I would like to assure all my customers that I take their safety very seriously, and am implementing strict safety procedures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Before Covid-19 I always operated my business with strict regard to safety procedures, to protect myself, my customers and their property. I use appropriate sheeting to protect floors and carpets alongside proper dust control measures. I also use a P3 dust mask and clean gloves for every job as standard.
In response to the current situation I now have enhanced protection in place:

When booking an appointment I request that customers alert me if anyone in their household is displaying Covid-19 symptoms prior to my visit. They should also advise me of anyone that is self-isolating or has underlying health issues, when extra measures can be discussed.

Customers are asked to ensure that the route to their chimney/stove is clear and there is adequate space for me to work. Ashes should be removed and furniture and ornaments moved where possible.

Where possible, all rooms used during sweeping should be ventilated with open windows ahead of the visit.

I will observe recommended social distancing and ask that customers do the same, remaining in another room during the sweeping process when possible.

A certificate will be issued as usual, however customers are asked to use their own pen to sign it.

I regret that I am unable to accept tea and biscuits for now 😊.
